Description Asif Ali Rizvan 2014-02-25 15:47:13 UTC
Most popular video players like Youtube flash player, smplayer, take 2 seconds to hide onscreen controls in fullscreen;

vlc on the other hand takes only 1 second to hide onscreen controls.

currently videos take 5 seconds to hide the onscreen controls in fullscreen or in window mode. This 5 seconds delay blocks the video and especially subtitles.

Please consider reducing the time to 2s or 1s to hide onscreen controls on mouse movement.

Thanks.

windows media player also hides the onscreen controls in 2 seconds;

Please see from 1:10 to 1:12 (2 seconds, the controls hide)

For what it is worth, both gnome-documents and gnome-photos take 2s to hide onscreen controls that are shown on mouse movement.
