Description Stephen Gallagher 2014-02-20 18:20:37 UTC
Since upgrading from 3.10 to 3.11.90, I can no longer launch an application by hitting the super key, typing its name and hitting enter. I have to move the mouse to the application icon and click on it, which is most inconvenient.

Are you using classic mode (or the launch-new-instance extension). The extension had to be updated for API changes (see bug 724428), which has only been included in 3.11.90.
Comment 2 Stephen Gallagher 2014-02-20 18:55:10 UTC
I am using the launch-new-instance extension, yes. I'm using the one from
gnome-shell-extension-launch-new-instance-3.11.90-1.fc21.noarch

So if I understand correctly, that *should* be working, yes? Unless it's somehow related to being mismatched between the F20 and Rawhide versions of the extension.
Comment 3 Florian Müllner 2014-02-20 21:18:23 UTC
So - same problem as in bug 724779?
Comment 4 Stephen Gallagher 2014-02-20 21:19:48 UTC
Yes, I wiped out the .local copy of the extension there and got my keyboard controls back. Thanks for the help!

You're welcome!
