Description Asif Ali Rizvan 2014-02-18 10:40:14 UTC
Now that gnome-web has become a very good competitor feature and interface wise to all major browsers, like excellent flash plugin support, adblock, fast loading of pages, and responsive; we now miss extensions which enhances the web browsing experience;

I'd really like to see greasemonkey/userscripts plugin which would allow me to download flash videos from youtube and other sites; and fix some websites annoyances.

Please consider adding greasemonkey plugin. Thanks.

It that just "add greasemonkey support back", or were there other features that should have been in the core (adblocking is builtin now for example).

We have no mid-term plans to restore support for extensions. In the long term, we may or may not want to bring back extensions.

We do intend to have built-in greasemonkey functionality in the mid-term, though, since that extension was particularly popular.
