Description Michael Hendry 2014-02-18 09:49:32 UTC
I'm using GIMP 2.8.2 on an iMac with OS X Version 10.9.1.

When I try to edit a filename, many keystrokes are intercepted and act as keyboard shortcuts for the main screen (e.g. "a" selects the Airbrush tool, digits change the image size).

Some keys (e.g. "g" and "l") are passed through to the Name: box in the "Save Image" screen.

Please upgrade to 2.8.10, this is fixed.

(if somebody finds the original bug, please dedup)

Thanks, Michael - sorry to have wasted your time!

I've become used to being told automatically when there's a new version available, and hadn't realised 2.8.10 had been released.

The upgrade has indeed resolved my problem.
