When you create a copy of a file or folder in the same place, its name is appended with " (copy)". For files, this is inserted before the file extension, where as folders don't have a file extension.

If a folder is named "folder-1.2.3" its copy will be named "folder-1.2 (copy).3" but not the expected "folder-1.2.3 (copy)".
