I know that lots of text editors support code folding, but is it really useful? With latexila, you have already the structure of the document in the side panel, so you can navigate quickly through the document.

For small sections or environments, it is not really useful to fold them. But for bigger sections or chapters, it can be a little useful.

Anyway GtkSourceView doesn't support code folding yet, and a first step is to add an API in GtkSourceView.
