Hi,

in my syslog I find entries like

These clearly do not belong there, as they are not system-wide, and possibly a breach of privacy.

It seems that evince should not log these things at all, and if it does, not via syslog but to stderr.

This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but we are happy to tell you that the problem has already been fixed. It should be solved in the next software version. You may want to check for a software upgrade.
