Description Colin Macdonald 2014-02-04 01:10:18 UTC
On Fedora 20, I noticed that Banshee doesn't seem to find external storage which contains an ".is_audio_file". I tested with a SD card and a flash drive. Neither show up in the GUI or any mention in the log file.

Both show up as audio players in Rhythmbox but not in Banshee.

I have an old mass-storage-based MP3 player which I think used to work. Note-to-self: find it and check if it still does!

Ok, I've tested with the old mass-storage MP3 Player and it works (Banshee transcodes ogg to mp3).

I've also retested on a flash drive and is seems fine (this was incorrect above I guess). *But it still doesn't work on SD cards*.

Note also typo in OP: its ".is_audio_player".
