Description Michael Catanzaro 2014-01-27 04:11:35 UTC
When the new game button appears at the end of the game, the game area is jarringly pushed slightly to the left.

The button itself could also be aligned a bit better.

Maybe, instead of having a button next to the grid, it could be in the headerbar, replacing the “next: × × ×” thing that doesn’t really make sense when you finished a game ? It’s the good place for a action button in the headerbar, it just looks a little more serious (less game-y).

I agree that would be a good solution. I actually tried that at one point, but couldn't get it working, so it wound up in the window. Will try again sometime, but I don't have time to work on it before the UI freeze for GNOME 3.12 (which is in about 9 hours) and I think some new game button is better than no new game button.

(I think we can still fix this bug for 3.12 after UI freeze, just not by moving buttons around.)
