Not sure what to do about this; it's caused by the new game button in the headerbar.  I guess we should play with headerbar padding....

One problem is that, given the position and size of this button, it really looks like a Refresh button rather than a new game button... maybe we can replace the title and score with New Game after the game is over.

Well that's a separate issue; the extra black space is fixed, that was our blocker issue.
