Description Bas 2014-01-19 18:55:28 UTC
Hi,

I recently build the python-bindings in an attempt to upgrade the formatting of an invoice. There are a number of errors when gnucash is configured with --enable-python --disable-gui --enable-locale-specific-tax.

The python-bindings will build and the installation of the binding succeeds, but importing them into the python environment will fail because some schema files are missing. I learned later on that an environment file is missing too.

Could the installation of the schema files and the environment (and what else is needed) be moved to a separate module, away from the gui, as such allowing someone to install the python bindings and have a working environment?

Thanks, Bas
