See summary, currently we have custom conversion to NV12 in there. Should put a NV12_64Z32 -> NV12 fast-path into videoconvert for this too, and ideally support it in the sink directly.

Not done, you need to have a Exynos 4 or old Qualcomm based Android device to test this. I'm not sure how to get one ... I'm not sure it will likely get fixed.
