I'm trying to setup a new set of accounts. When I get to the "Choose accounts to create" page, I de-select "Common Accounts" and select something else, as in screenshot 1.

At this point, I click "Last", "Apply", and save the file. When the accounts tab opens, only the accounts from the "Common Accounts" template are shown, as shown in screenshot 2.

-----

Addendum. While going through the steps to reproduce this, I discovered the following: If I do not save the file after the last step of the druid, the correct accounts are created.

Did you de-select common accounts before selecting Car loan? If you don't then the common accounts get created too.
Comment 3 jdp.gnome 2014-01-08 15:23:14 UTC
Only "Car Loan" is selected, as in the first screenshot. I'm not sure what other info I can give you. If you're suggesting that the order these items are selected/deselected is important, then that is a ridiculously non user friendly interface.

I'm using version 2.6, here's the text from the about screen: "This copy was built from git rev 38a0d33+ on 2013-12-29"

I chanced on this error a couple of days ago, and worked around it by checking, unchecking, and rechecking the additional account that I wanted. I'm pretty sure it worked correctly before 2.5.9.

This problem has been fixed in our software repository (r23579). The fix will go into the next software release. Thank you for your bug report.
