Description Alex Tkachenko 2002-02-21 20:13:11 UTC
Package: gnome-session
Severity: normal
Version: 1.4.0.4
Synopsis: session manager keeps crashing
Bugzilla-Product: gnome-session
Bugzilla-Component: gnome-session

Description:
On Red Hat 7.1 with recent ximian desktop upgrades (last upgrade through
Red Carpet 02/20/02) session manager crashes upon exit, next login
presents dialog window to choose session state (clean, saved...) and it
looks like it saves state before crash, because when I choose "...where
I left off" it opens only those applications I had before logout.

Hope it helps,
Alex

This is a bug with the 1.4 version of the seesion manager - moving to
gnome-core
Comment 2 Kjartan Maraas 2002-02-24 09:13:57 UTC
Please try the latest version of gnome-core and gnome-libs

http://www.gnome.org/~kmaraas has some packages I made of those (not
official packages though)
