Description Allan Day 2014-01-07 11:29:27 UTC
Right now, clicking on an URL with the primary mouse button doesn't have any effect. This is counter-intuitive, and isn't very helpful. It would be great if left clicking opened the URL in the usual manner.

The right click context menu could still be retained if you want to copy the URL.

The problem here is that if the application uses mouse tracking mode the click will go to the application not the terminal. So depending on which mode the terminal is in, the click either goes to the app or opens a URL...

Ctrl + left click also follows to link. Unfortunately it's hard to discover this feature.

At the risk of sounding stupid - what is mouse tracking mode? :)

It's simply when the application handles mouse events itself - e.g. midnight commander. You click and drag, it's not the standard copy-paste that happens but rather mc does its own stuff.
