These files contain license with obsolete FSF postal address: gnote/COPYING-DOCS: 59 Temple Place, Suite 330, Boston, MA 02111-1307 USA gnote/aclocal.m4:# Foundation, Inc., 59 Temple Place - Suite 330, Boston, MA 02111-1307, USA. gnote/gnome-doc-utils.make:# Inc., 59 Temple Place - Suite 330, Boston, MA 02111-1307, USA. gnote/m4/intltool.m4:## Foundation, Inc., 59 Temple Place - Suite 330, Boston, MA 02111-1307, USA.
(In reply to comment #0) > These files contain license with obsolete FSF postal address: > gnote/COPYING-DOCS: 59 Temple Place, Suite 330, Boston, MA 02111-1307 USA We use version 1.1 for GNU FDL, which is with this address. The question is, can I modify the license file? Gnote documentation was written mostly by other guy, so I guess I'd have to ask his permission to upgrade the license, I don't know whether such trivial change qualifies as license change? > gnote/aclocal.m4:# Foundation, Inc., 59 Temple Place - Suite 330, Boston, MA > 02111-1307, USA. This one comes from pkg-config (file is generated). You should fill a bug for pkg-config, if you haven't yet. > gnote/gnome-doc-utils.make:# Inc., 59 Temple Place - Suite 330, Boston, MA > 02111-1307, USA. I don't get this one, so probably fixed already (external component). > gnote/m4/intltool.m4:## Foundation, Inc., 59 Temple Place - Suite 330, Boston, > MA 02111-1307, USA. This one should be reported to intltool.

Latest GNU FDL 1.1 as published in http://www.gnu.org/licenses/old-licenses/fdl-1.1.txt has 51 Franklin St, Fifth Floor, Boston, MA 02110-1301 USA > The question is, can I modify the license file? > Gnote documentation was written mostly by other guy, so I guess I'd have to ask > his permission to upgrade the license, I don't know whether such trivial change > qualifies as license change? Not sure about this. Maybe we can bring this to #721455 to get some concensus?
> Latest GNU FDL 1.1 as published in > http://www.gnu.org/licenses/old-licenses/fdl-1.1.txt > has 51 Franklin St, Fifth Floor, Boston, MA 02110-1301 USA Updated to this one. We have no exceptions, so the license "as published by FSF" is valid.
