Description Ishaan 2013-12-24 17:09:17 UTC
I don't know if this is a bug or a feature not written yet, but here it is.

Whenever i connect my Bluetooth headphones to by system (usually it auto connects) the sound starts coming to the headphones but the control of the sound from the keyboard multimedia keys or the gnome shell control both control the laptop speaker (analog output) but not Bluetooth headphones unless i explicitly open sound and change it to A2DP audio and that is when the control switches.

GNOME-Shell Version - 3.10.2.1

Bluez Version - 5.12-2

Gnome-Bluetooth Version - 3.10.0.1

Pulseaudio Version - 4.0-6

Linux Kernel Version - 3.12.5-1

OS - Arch Linux

And i know there are known problems with pulse audio and bluez but this is an annoying bug and since gnome removed sound settings from the top right panel drop down, it has become more annoying.

Let me know if I need to add more detail.
