Description Paolo Inaudi 2013-12-23 10:12:06 UTC
I'm co-maintainer, with dm60, of CoverflowAltTab gnome-shell extension. He uploaded a new version supporting gnome 3.10 on November 08, and as of now there is no review.
https://extensions.gnome.org/review/3447

This is not only a problem with this extension: the review list is very very long. I know this is a volunteer work; however, while extension are one of the best features of gnome-shell, allowing deep customization, being a extension developer is a nightmare. Frequent API changes forces us to a continuous effort to keep compatibility (and forces also to write horrendous code, with conditional api usage), but our work is almost thrown away if users cannot use it due to lack of review. They can obviously use it downloading zips from Github, but the point of extensions.gnome.org is installing extensions without having to download and install a zip file.

Considering that peer review is very important to guarantee quality, my request is to put a little more effort in it.

Thank you for your great work
Paolo
