When I mount an ISO image with GVFS disk mounter, I can see an option in Nautilus to boot it with GNOME Boxes. But in fact, GNOME Boxes unable to boot it, and shows the following error on command line:

(gnome-boxes:15402): Boxes-WARNING **: media-manager.vala:104: Failed to get information on device '/dev/loop0': Unsupported disk image format.. Ignoring..

It still doesn't work for me with git master. Now I could create the box, but GNOME Boxes fails to connect.

This was about the issue you reported about creation of the VM.

Now this is a different issue and I believe is the same as bug#709047.
