Description Doug McMahon 2013-12-19 15:49:44 UTC
With gtk-3.10.x when dragging the object being dragged isn't visible, only a little hand+arrow cursor
Seen in nautilus, nemo & games such as Aisleriot, ect.
Comment 1 Matthias Clasen 2013-12-19 19:33:17 UTC
aisleriot is known to have a drawing problem, but nautilus works fine here.
Comment 2 Christian Persch 2013-12-19 21:23:08 UTC
aisleriot a) doesn't use DND, and b) is fixed since 3.10.2 (workaround for gtk+ bug 702951, which I guess this bug is a dup of?).

So it 's intended that when dragging in nautilus the icon of dragged file is shown?, if so then it may be an issue with ubuntu 14.04 & the gtk-3.10/nautilus they are using.
Above clip demo's

Maybe DnD is wrong term, if so sorry. Users report that they expect to 'see' a card when moving. With gtk-3.10 & Aisleroit 3.10.1 they don't

Sorry Christian - didn't notice that you said fixed in .2
Comment 7 Sebastien Bacher 2014-01-08 17:32:51 UTC
the nautilus issue was due the Ubuntu theme, we can probably mark that bug invalid for gtk (or duplicate of the other bug pointed in previous comment)
