Description Jim Nelson 2013-12-13 18:59:32 UTC
If the Move or Add Label dropdown menus are filled with enough folders so that they're screen height (or longer), clicking on the button will select whatever folder is under the mouse cursor at that moment. What would be preferable is for the menu to appear and the mouse button up event to be ignored, so the user can then scroll through the list and select a folder or dismiss the menu.

It may be we're doing something wrong in Geary, but I suspect this is a GTK issue. More investigation is necessary.

One workaround is to press and hold the button. The menu will appear but won't select a folder.

Seems related to # 591258
Comment 3 Niels De Graef 2016-06-28 11:39:18 UTC
Should be fixed with bug 767431.
Comment 4 Michael Gratton 2016-06-29 06:04:42 UTC
Yup, pretty much obsoleted by that.
