GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 720354
contacts deduplication dialog behaves positively weird
Last modified: 2014-02-11 13:29:28 UTC
(originally filed as https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1033263) screencast of the reproduction is at https://bugzilla.redhat.com/attachment.cgi?id=827415 Description of problem: When I start to copy many contacts to another address book (thanks for the functionality, looks great) I get hundreds of deduplication dialogs, which behave really weird expanding limitlessly (even wider than the width of screen). See attached screencast for illustration. Also, in case of hundreds of contacts some [Skip All] [Add All] buttons would be really helpful (who wants to press Cancel 254 times ... that's my case now). Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): evolution-3.8.5-10.el7.x86_64 How reproducible: 100% (happens too often for my taste)
I guess its a duplicate of two bugs: 1) https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=707121 Merge contacts dialogs indefinitely expands by itself 2) https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=612258 Duplicate contact dialog should have cancel all and merge all options
Let's close this as a duplicate of the first, and let Matej CC himself to the second, if he wants to. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 707121 ***
