Description Leo 2013-12-11 23:45:33 UTC
Cannot transfer any music out of Banshee to my mobiles as it hangs as soon as I plug it in.

Have attached the log file.

Thanks,

Leo

Hmm, I don't see any log file attached here though.

This seems similar to the fault I am encountering details below.

I have an LG Nexus 5 phone running Andriod 4.4.3 and a laptop with Ubuntu 14.04 LTS installed.

When attached via USB2 or USB3 I can mount the file system on the phone without issue and can manually transfer files but this is not the rich functionality that I'm after.

I have tried using Banshee 2.6.2 to sync music and playlists but as soon as I attach my phone Banshee hangs and tells me: "Oops! Something went wrong. Unhandled error message: No such interface 'org.gtk.vfs.Mount' on object at path /org/gtk/vfs/mount/1 "

Any advice on solving the issue or recommend an alternative software package that will offer the same functions would be appreciated?

I wonder if we are experiencing the same issue. My Samsung S4 connects to my debian testing box via mtp just fine, however when I load up banshee it bails and spits out "usbfs: process 9898 (events) did not claim interface 0 before use"

Chances are that the bugfix for bug 729438 fixed this too, can anyone test banshee master?
