Description William Jon McCann 2013-11-27 19:55:07 UTC
For some reason I'm unable to bring up the document controls headerbar and OSD when in fullscreen mode.

It used to be that I could click on the document to do that. But now the only way is to start a search and then cancel the search.

Could be a duplicate of bug 711789

It is probably the same bug, but the scope is wider than reported here. As I noted in 711789, I am unable to bring up controls in *any* window mode, i.e. fullscreen or any other window size. Here is some additional information that may help with fixing the bug:

 * As noted in 711789, controls can be brought up by clicking on a jpeg (?) image embedded in a pdf (e.g. ebook covers, photos), but not by clicking on other images (e.g. plots, diagrams) or text.
 * Control can be brought up by clicking on a hyperlink.
 * I can confirm that in fullscreen mode, but not in normal mode, controls can be toggled by opening and closing search (ctrl+f).
