Show's incorrect ordering although Name is selected

Unfortunately when I use the dialog to open a file the sorting by name does not work.  I have been able to replicate this easily by simply browsing to any folder, and changing the ordering by file name ascending or descending and neither works.  Screen shot explains this best.

This is a known problem of Glib on OS X: bug 673047. See also bug 391461 for a similar report.
