Description Andreas Nilsson 2013-11-26 14:35:13 UTC
Tried to run Maps on the Chromebook and the map view is too small.
Comment 1 Mattias Bengtsson 2013-11-26 15:18:19 UTC
Is it possible to force hidpi on a lodpi-computer so i can test this?
Comment 2 Jean-François Fortin Tam 2014-01-11 21:51:25 UTC
Mattias: yes, simply run it like this:

GDK_SCALE=2 gnome-maps

Enjoy the show :)
Comment 3 Mattias Bengtsson 2014-01-14 18:42:17 UTC
Ah yeah I found that out on IRC later. Is this a Champlain problem?
Comment 4 Mattias Bengtsson 2014-03-08 16:17:48 UTC
Tested it today like this inside jhbuild shell:

$ GDK_SCALE=2 CLUTTER_SCALE=2 gnome-maps

And while the map data isn't hidpi (it is scaled on demand) it seems to work at least which is goood.

Should we keep this open until we find hidpi map data or just close it?
Comment 5 Mattias Bengtsson 2014-07-29 20:16:20 UTC
So there's actually an issue (#733826) with Hi-DPI still in Champlain that I didn't see until very recently. So depend on that.
Comment 6 Jonas Danielsson 2015-08-23 17:39:44 UTC
The champlain bug has been marked as fixed so I think this one should as well?
