When cropping an image for printing, there is no choice for "US Letter" size
paper. If you try to define a custom size as 8.5 x 11, it truncates the .5 and
changes it to 8 x 11. It becomes impossible to print with even borders or
border-less on US letter size paper. You cannot use any fractional sizes in
the custom cropping field. Because I print a lot of 8.5 x 11 photos, I end up
printing either in gimp with the turboprint plugin, or in picasa which allows
US Letter cropping and printing. If the turboprint gimp plugin could be
adapted to Shotwell, it would make printing choices very robust for people who
use the turboprint drivers. At the very least, US Letter should be an
available paper size for cropping.
