####

#2

Updated by Jim Nelson about 2 years ago

  * **Priority** changed from _Normal_ to _High_
  * **Target version** set to _0.11.1_

This is probably a duplicate of #4045, which is fixed in trunk and slated for
the 0.11.1 release.

Is it possible for you to build Shotwell from our git server and verify it's
fixed?  Instructions for doing so are here:

http://yorba.org/shotwell/install<source

####

#3

Updated by Jim Nelson about 2 years ago

  * **Status** changed from _Open_ to _5_
  * **Resolution** set to _duplicate_

Closing on the assumption that this will be fixed in 0.11.1.  If you still see
it after that, please re-open this ticket.

After the update to 0.11.1, i have always the same problem :-(

####

#5

Updated by Adam Dingle about 2 years ago

  * **Status** changed from _5_ to _Open_
  * **Priority** changed from _High_ to _Urgent_
  * **Target version** changed from _0.11.1_ to _0.11.2_
  * **Resolution** deleted (<strike>_duplicate_</strike>)

Reopening since Alessandro is still seeing this in 0.11.1.

Alessandro, can you follow these instructions:

http://redmine.yorba.org/projects/shotwell/wiki/ShotwellFAQ#I-found-a-bug-in-
Shotwell-How-can-I-report-it

By the end of the process you should have two files, shotwell.gdb and
shotwell.log.  Please attach those files to this ticket so we can try and
determine the issue.

Thanks!

  * **File** shotwell.gdb added
  * **File** shotwell.log added

I followed the instructions.

Here are the 2 files as you asked.

Ok, this helps.  Looking at the stack trace I can see where the problem is
happening, but I'm still not sure why.

Could you send me your Shotwell database file?  It's located in
~/.shotwell/data/photo.db.  During startup Shotwell is loading the tags from
this file.  There's something about them that's causing this problem.

You can email it to me at jim@yorba.org

Alessandro has emailed me his database file and I can reproduce this easily.
Whomever this is assigned to, please let me know and I'll forward it on to
you.
