Original Redmine bug id: 2570
Original URL: http://redmine.yorba.org/issues/2570
Searchable id: yorba-bug-2570
Original author: Fred van Zwieten
Original description:

It would be nice to have an easy way to geocode the photo's. I suggest to have
a Google map come up from a menu select where the user can search for
locations. When the user pin's a location the geocode of this location will be
stored in the photo metadata. If the photo is already geocoded, the map should
come up with the geocoded location in the center. Also batch-geocoding must be
possible (operate on selection of photo's)

I'd vote for OSM (and #2875) over Google maps any day! :-)
