Original Redmine bug id: 2734
Original URL: http://redmine.yorba.org/issues/2734
Searchable id: yorba-bug-2734
Original author: Jim Nelson
Original description:

Attached image is black figures on a transparent background. Shotwell cannot
properly display this image because the black background against the black
figures make it look blank.

The user suggested allowing the background color be user-visible. Another
possibility is to use a checkerboard for transparencies, which is how many
image editors handle it.
