Description necrosoft 2002-02-15 23:21:30 UTC
Package: gnome-panel
Severity: critical
Version: 1.4.0.4
Synopsis: APPLETS PROBLEMS (RED HAT 7.2)
Bugzilla-Product: gnome-panel
Bugzilla-Component: general

Description:
Hi! (I'm Italian)

I have a problem with applets at boot of my Red Hat 7.2. I'm not sure if this problem concern tightly Red Hat 7.2 or GDE (Gnome 1.4.0.4).

When I start the system as user, the most of times, the applets (rp3, tasklist and clock) they are not loaded. They rest visualized as a little black icon, and if i try and load again then from Gnome menu or restart again all system, the pannel disappear. I can restart the pc only by terminal, and login again as user, the applets aren't no more (at this time i can reload the applets). When I start the system as root, the applets work correctly, but if i go out of root whithoout restart the system, and i login in the system as user, the applets work perfectly.

Why at first start of the system from user they don't run???
