Description:
Installed ftp distro of Red Hat Linux 7.2 on 233/64/4GB Pentium II. Logged in and added group wheel to current user. Had trouble with network, so logged out and rebooted. Now panel won't launch without crashing (Segmentation Fault).

this is a gnome 1.4 panel bug which belongs in gnome-core.
