I think that this option will be available in Geary because is very tired do this manually. Related issues: related to geary - Feature #6349: Keyboard shortcuts for mark as read/unread, and star/unst... (Fixed) related to geary - Feature #5975: Read icon in Conversation List (Fixed) ---- Additional Comments From geary-maint@gnome.bugs 2013-04-03 18:13:00 -0700 ---- ### History #### #1 Updated by Jim Nelson 10 months ago * **Category** changed from _client_ to _client+engine_ A good suggestion. It might make sense to also offer mark all as unread. One note: Ctrl+A and Mark as Read doesn't work in all situations. Geary downloads the folder's contents in chunks, and it's possible in a large folder not to have all the mail locally, so the mail only on the server won't be marked. This feature would cover that circumstance. #### #2 Updated by Eric Gregory 10 months ago This also brings up the point that we don't have a keyboard shortcut for marking messages as read/unread. I opened ticket #6349 to implement that feature. #### #3 Updated by Jim Nelson 9 months ago * **Target version** changed from _0.3.0_ to _0.4.0_ #### #4 Updated by Maia Kozheva 8 months ago This can be exposed by adding a context menu to the folder in the folder list. #### #5 Updated by Jim Nelson 8 months ago * **Target version** changed from _0.4.0_ to _0.5.0_ --- Bug imported by chaz@yorba.org 2013-11-21 20:28 UTC --- This bug was previously known as _bug_ 6348 at http://redmine.yorba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6348 Unknown milestone "unknown in product geary. GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org. As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately quite limited so not every ticket can get handled). If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent and supported software version, then please follow https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines and create a new ticket at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/geary/-/issues/ Thank you for your understanding and your help.
