Description Charles Lindsay 2013-11-21 20:22:27 UTC

---- Reported by adam@yorba.org 2011-11-15 12:49:00 -0800 ----

Original Redmine bug id: 4383
Original URL: http://redmine.yorba.org/issues/4383
Searchable id: yorba-bug-4383
Original author: Adam Dingle
Original description:

It would be cool if I could expand conversations in the sidebar directly: an
expanded conversation would show a list of all its messages, with a preview of
each. The user could expand a conversation by clicking the conversation's
message count.

I believe Adam means the conversation list, not the sidebar (i.e. folder list). Changing title accordingly.
Comment 2 Federico Bruni 2017-12-19 22:26:14 UTC
This may need some design advice.

Adam's description seem to be a compressed version of current conversation pane (the third pane). It might be useful to skim through a long thread more quickly (as you shouldn't need scrolling in a compressed/smaller view) and select the message you want to display on the conversation pane.
Comment 3 Michael Gratton 2018-01-10 00:18:36 UTC
I believe this would be covered by a "GMail mode".
