Description Charles Lindsay 2013-11-21 20:20:06 UTC

---- Reported by adam@yorba.org 2012-03-19 13:42:00 -0700 ----

Original Redmine bug id: 4877
Original URL: http://redmine.yorba.org/issues/4877
Searchable id: yorba-bug-4877
Original author: Adam Dingle
Original description:

To see the problem:

1. Make sure that the preference "Automatically select next message" is set.

2. In Geary, send yourself a short test message.

3. Wait until the message arrives (you may need to scroll up to see it). Do
not read the message.

4. Restart Geary.

5. The test message will automatically be selected. Press the Delete key
immediately. Nothing will happen.

6. Wait until the message's body is downloaded and displayed.

7. Press the Delete key again. Now the message will be archived.

The message should be archived in step 5, even before its body has arrived.
(For example, I may recognize that a message is spam just from reading its
subject, so I'd like to delete it without having to wait for the message to
download.)
