GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 713348
Display email addresses as bubbles/labels
Last modified: 2019-06-22 05:23:59 UTC
---- Reported by adam@yorba.org 2012-04-13 14:49:00 -0700 ---- Original Redmine bug id: 5056 Original URL: http://redmine.yorba.org/issues/5056 Searchable id: yorba-bug-5056 Original author: Adam Dingle Original description: It might be nice to display email addresses as individual "bubbles" which the user could select individually. That would let the user easily drag addresses between fields, as well as delete and perform other operations on them (perhaps via a context menu or drop-down menu). Related issues: duplicated by geary - Feature #7588: message composer: better handling of recipients' list (Duplicate) ---- Additional Comments From geary-maint@gnome.bugs 2013-10-04 08:47:00 -0700 ---- ### History #### #1 Updated by Christian Dywan over 1 year ago * **File** gtk-button-based-postler.png added * **File** freestyle-mockup.png added #### #2 Updated by Jim Nelson 10 months ago * **Category** set to _composer_ #### #3 Updated by Federico Bruni about 1 month ago Please consider also this problem: If a conversation has several email addresses, you may want to reply to all but then exclude some of these addresses from your reply. Sometimes you really want to be sure you've removed the addresses you intended to remove. The problem is: at the moment in the composer window the addresses are listed on one line and you have to scroll horizontally to find the address(es) to remove. Current design is error-prone in this regard. --- Bug imported by chaz@yorba.org 2013-11-21 20:20 UTC --- This bug was previously known as _bug_ 5056 at http://redmine.yorba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5056 Imported an attachment (id=260659) Imported an attachment (id=260660) Unknown version " in product geary.
