copy rather than move from All Mail to labels or inbox
Last modified: 2021-07-05 13:24:11 UTC
---- Reported by adam@yorba.org 2012-06-06 14:45:00 -0700 ---- Original Redmine bug id: 5354 Original URL: http://redmine.yorba.org/issues/5354 Searchable id: yorba-bug-5354 Original author: Adam Dingle Original description: In Gmail, every message is always in the All Mail folder (unless it is in Spam or Trash). This means that moving a message from All Mail to a label makes no sense; a message will actually be copied. As an exception to this, if I drag over Spam or Trash then we should show the move icon. Related issues: related to geary - 4652: archive command should not be available in All Mail or Se... Bump tickets to 0.14 that aren't going to make 0.13.
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org. As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately quite limited so not every ticket can get handled). If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent and supported software version, then please follow https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines and create a new ticket at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/geary/-/issues/ Thank you for your understanding and your help.
