GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 712174
scroll don't work with gedit (and other app)
Last modified: 2013-11-18 23:48:11 UTC
I use Fedora 19 with kde, but I prefer gedit. But scroll don't work in the window, only on the elevator. Scroll worked fine in F18. I feel a bug report on fedora bugzilla : https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=983834 After research, I find the cause is gtk3, particularly the debian patch include upstream in this package : https://launchpadlibrarian.net/138037691/gtk%2B3.0_3.6.4-0ubuntu7_3.6.4-0ubuntu8.diff.gz For test I rebuild package without this patch and scroll work fine in gedit, Steven P. Ulrick, who have similar problem, also test and scroll work once again in application (Easytag, Bluefish, Geeqie & GIMP). I think it's may be a regression, but I am not a dev or a programmer. Can you solve that ?
I have the same problem that dominique reported. It actually seemed to affect every GTK app that I tried: Bluefish, Emelfm2, Easytag, Gimp... The RPM's that he built and offered for testing fixed this issue for me. There is a link to the RPM's that he refers to in comment #18 of the Redhat bugzilla report on this issue: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=983834#c18 Again, these RPM's fixed this problem for me.
There is dev on this bugzilla ?
