Currency equivalence can be inverted.
Last modified: 2016-10-21 17:03:37 UTC
Steps to reproduce: 1) Launch gnome-calculator and switch to financial mode. 2) Chose "Pound Sterling" as the first currency and "Qatari Riyal" as the second currency. Observe that the equivalence between currencies is inverted. Observed on branch Master.

Kevin, Thank you for your report. The reason behind this is that the Arabic scripts are rendered from right to left. Hence the results are also shown in right to left format. I am not sure whether it actually needs to be rendered left to right or right to left. Thank you. :)
Hm, this is a funny bug. The currencies should not switch positions just because one is written in another script. We may need to insert LTR order marks to fix this, but also make sure that doesn't cause the equivalent bug when running in a RTL locale....
This has been handled in bug 748732, marking as a duplicate. Thanks for taking the time to report this. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but we are happy to tell you that the problem has already been fixed in the code repository. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 748732 ***
