Description Jakub Steiner 2013-11-06 20:12:18 UTC
A very common use case we overlooked is picking colors using the stylus. While we can assign keyboard modifiers and shortcuts to the tablet buttons, the stylus buttons have a more focused set of action, but this one is kind of missing.

As we don't have the action API, this is usually done using modifiers (Ctrl in particular). Just adding Ctrl,Shift and Alt to the list is making the dropdown considerably less usable, so this will need design work.

GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new bug report at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-control-center/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
