Description Alberto Ruiz 2013-10-30 14:35:51 UTC
On GNOME SHell, when notified of a new email and clicking in the notification popup, Evolution window is focused, but the email in question is not opened.
Comment 1 Matthew Barnes 2013-10-30 14:53:06 UTC
IIRC, it presents the window and selects the appropriate folder, but stops short of actually opening the new message. I seem to recall we're missing some wiring for that to work, but I forget the exact details.
Comment 2 Alberto Ruiz 2013-10-31 14:24:00 UTC
Not quite... If I have a composer window and I close the main window it will raise the compose window and not bring me to the main window at all. It's pretty annoying.
Comment 3 André Klapper 2021-05-19 11:37:36 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/Community/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new enhancement request ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evolution/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
