Description Arnold Nijboer 2013-10-29 11:51:21 UTC
some issues with bluefish related to (or probably related to) gtk.

scrolling vertical doesn't work.
solution: http://askubuntu.com/questions/356640/ubuntu-13-10-mouse-scroll-wheel-does-in-work-in-gtk3-apps

and highlighting has issues.
for example if i have a comment line starting with //
the following lines of php code are also grey.
when hitting enter or making a space at the end of the comment line the following code is highlighted correctly.
but after a while (moving the cursor to another part of the code) the lines will be greyed out again.
there seems to be no logic to the number of creyed out lines.

You should decide, which issue this report id about: either the scrolling issue or the highlighting one. The latter has already been adressed in #704108 and would make this a duplicate report.

from the link I understand that the scrolling is a Ubuntu specific problem, not related to a bug in Bluefish, is that correct?
Comment 3 Arnold Nijboer 2013-10-29 21:15:09 UTC
Daniel, Olivier, thanks for the response.

i haven't looked that good if it was a duplicate, so you might be right. sorry for that.

the other bug is a gtk related bug (as far as i understand).
wich affects bluefish as wel i presume.
it's more a heads up for you guys.
