Description darkweasel 2013-10-27 17:57:04 UTC
I am using GIMP 2.8.4 (the build by Clayton Walker as available on the download page) on OS X 10.9, to which I recently upgraded from 10.8. I have observed very annoying behavior from GIMP.

Steps to reproduce:
- Open GIMP, create a new file or open an existing one.
- Open a dialog box. I observed it on the dialog box for renaming a layer, and on the dialog box for exporting.
- Type something into a text field.

Expected behavior: Text appears in the text field.
Actual behavior: No text appears in the text field; instead, GIMP switches between tools according to which keys I pressed and which tools these are meant to select in the main GIMP interface.
