GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 710917
Segfault while parsing a C file
Last modified: 2013-12-24 18:59:24 UTC
Created attachment 258168 [details] A program to reproduce the segfault The C file to reproduce the segfault is attached. The line that triggers the fault (as it seems) is: /**<!--***************************************************************--> if one replaces that with /** <!--***************************************************************--> the problem goes away. System info: $ doxygen --version 1.8.4 $ uname -a Linux temanbk 3.11.4-gentoo #1 SMP Mon Oct 7 22:41:26 BST 2013 x86_64 Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2310M CPU @ 2.10GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux
Confirmed, the /**< is interpreted as "a comment that is placed after the item", rather than a /** ... */ comment with a <!-- ... --> block inside. Should be fixed in the next GIT update.
This bug was previously marked ASSIGNED, which means it should be fixed in doxygen version 1.8.6. Please verify if this is indeed the case. Reopen the bug if you think it is not fixed and please include any additional information that you think can be relevant (preferrably in the form of a self-contained example).
