Description Untersinger Remy 2013-10-22 13:19:00 UTC
Hi there,

I have installed ApacheDirectorsStudio for linux (an LDAP browser) on my fedora running gnome shell 3.8.4. And now, when I'm using the application search feature ( ALT+F1 ) gnome shell is crashing after typing 'LDA'

Need to do a service gdm restart or a reboot for getting back a working desktop
ANy ideas ?

thanks for your help

Check the .desktop file for ApacheDirectorsStudio for invalid characters?

This could be a duplicate of bug 710211.

yep, you were right, it'a a duplicate of 710211
An invalid icon path was the reason. I corrected manually the path and now it's working fine.

Thanks, Bye

Rémy
