Dan, can you test the patch with your modem? I'm not sure whether we need to do something more due to the ID_MM_X22X_TAGGED udev tag.

We need this patch too, otherwise the wdm/QMI port gets ignored.  After that, it works as expected.

Squashed both patches and commited as deaeeec.

This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
