Currently the status messages obscure the nicks and user messages. I think it would be better to
move them out of the way a bit. Right side seems like an incremental improvement.

Please, revert this. Grey color is good enough, no need for right alignment, in big resolutions it looks very very bad.

Except that the color is shared between status messages and "actions" (/me messages). I admit that it takes a while to get used to the new justification, but as it de-emphasizes status messages in favor of "real" content, I consider it a definitive improvement over what we had before.
I'm sure we can improve further on the way we present status messages in the future.
