Last modified: 2013-11-02 20:51:44 UTC
The full error message is as follows: [glom.i686 0:1.22.1-6.fc20] bool GlomBakery::Document::write_to_disk(): m_file_uri is empty. (glom:2411): libepc-WARNING **: epc_service_monitor_constructed: Cannot create service type browser for '_glom._sub._easy-publish-https._tcp': Cannot create Avahi service browser. (-1) (glom:2411): glibmm-ERROR **: unhandled exception (type std::exception) in signal handler: what: Error code from xmlParseChunk(): 111 Trace/breakpoint trap Tested on Fedora 20 (rawhide) with GNOME. Thanks
The libepc/Avahi problem should probably be investigated, but it's not what's causing the crash. The crash has been fixed by this commit: https://git.gnome.org/browse/glom/commit/?h=glom-1-22&id=6f01d7d8f79cd127418c2a4b234de670225fb71a There are several more fixes in the 1.22 branch, so you might ask Fedora to update their package: https://git.gnome.org/browse/glom/log/?h=glom-1-22

I have filed the bug for Ubuntu too, suggesting that they update their package, but it can generally take a very long time to get changes in to the Ubuntu package: https://bugs.launchpad.net/glom/+bug/1243071
People on Ubuntu Saucy might like to try the package that I have just uploaded to the Openismus PPA, in the absence of an official bug-fix in Ubuntu: https://launchpad.net/~openismus-team/+archive/ppa
