Description steph.paru 2013-10-15 16:48:39 UTC
Hi,

On my fresh installation of ArchLinux with Gnome 3.10, Nautilus and all the applications that uses the new header bar are in full screen, with no possibilities to exit in normal mode.

Here is a discussion thread about this problem : https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1337259
And a temporary fix (https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1337259#p1337259) :
In dconf editor, go to Org->Gnome->Nautilus and set window-state to the default value.

Once this fix is applied, Nautilus works as expected, except on a secondary screen. If I maximize Nautilus on my secondary screen, the bug come back, and "window-state" is reset to 1920x1080+0+0 (My two monitors are full hd).

If I can be in any way useful to solve this bug, tell me !

PS : Sorry for posting this in Nautilus, since all the applications with the header bar are concerned, but I don't know the cause of this bug...

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but we are happy to tell you that the problem has already been fixed. It should be solved in the version 3.10.1. You may want to check for a software upgrade when 3.10.1 is ready.
