GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 710114
When offline, offer to install later
Last modified: 2013-10-19 02:37:31 UTC
It is great to be able to browse and search for apps while offline. However, the current offline behaviour when you click on "Install" isn't particularly elegant. ;) If someone tries to install an app while offline, we should offer to install it for them later. * If offline, the install button should change to "Cancel", with a "Pending" label to its left. * An in-app notification should explain what's going to happen: "<app> will be installed when you next go online". * The app should be added to the installed list (the button can again read "Cancel", and have a "Pending" label underneath).
